Music Ministry

The Music Ministry at Arlington Baptist Church seeks to worship God in sincerity and in truth with excellence. We worship a God of wonderful variety; therefore, many musical styles are present in our worship service from time to time. Rather than focusing our attention on a single style of music, we focus our attention on the Creator of all music. We seek to use relevant music in a blended contemporary format for our worship services. There are several opportunities for you to be involved in. Check out each part of the music ministry at Arlington below.

Voices of Praise

The Voices of Praise at Arlington is an exciting and uplifting part of worship each week leading in congregational songs and special music. The sanctuary choir sings in the morning and evening worship services on Sunday. In addition, the choir presents several programs throughout the year for our church family and community designed to exalt the name of Jesus and to share the love of God. Special programs include our Christmas Cantata and Easter Cantata. All Church members from the age of eighteen to Senior Adults are invited to join. Rehearsals are each Wednesday night 8:00 – 9:00 p.m. If you are interested please feel free to contact Chris.

Praise Band

The praise band at Arlington plays on Sunday morning and Sunday evening services. This group consists of piano, organ, drums, bass guitar, acoustic guitar, and flute. Rehearsals for this group are on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. This group plays a vital role in our worship service each week as they provide the musical accompaniment for the choir and congregational worship. If you play an instrument and would like to join this group, please contact Chris.
